Phil Brumley

Phil Brumley, 66, loving husband to the late Janice Lynn Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, peacefully at his residence. He was born on October 27, 1958, to the late George and Nettie Marie Brumley in Manchester, Kentucky. For several years he was employed by Taylor Seed. He and his wife loved taking care of children and was a foster father to many. His favorite pass time was fishing.

Phil will be remembered by his sister-in-law and caretaker, Brenda Brumley; brother Michael Brumley; sisters Mary Harrell, Rita Kay Branhan, Brammer Lay and Sharon Flannelly; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Brumley; brothers Homer Brumley, Abraham Brumley, James Smith; and sister Janie Grubb.

A visitation will be conducted from 10:00-11:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am with burial at the Georgetown Cemetery on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Joey Giles, Michael Breshear, Austun Smallwood, J.C. Johnson, Tevin Johnson and Gilbert Downey. Honorary pallbearer Xander Johnson.
