Lyttle jailed in federal drug raid

A Town Branch man is behind bars for federal charges following a raid at his home Monday night.

Stephon Lyttle, 30, was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center on a federal drug indictment warrant, according to Manchester City Police Chief Jeff Couch.

The MPD collaborated on the raid with Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Kentucky State Police, and the Clay County Sheriff’s Department.

The chief says they seized drugs and numerous weapons from the home.

“We are not going to tolerate drug dealing in the city of Manchester,” Couch said.  “If you’re dealing, you’ll see us soon.”

The investigation is continuing, and more arrests are expected.
