Suspect comments ‘Hey guys’ on police Facebook post before officers find her hiding under toys

MANCHESTER, U.K. (Gray News) - A suspect taunted police by commenting “Hey guys” on a police department’s Facebook post about her being wanted.

The 22-year-old woman was arrested later at a home after she was found hiding in one of the rooms under a pile of toys.

She was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear in court for three counts of assault of an emergency worker, drug offenses and theft. She was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

“We want to thank everyone who engaged with our post, it ultimately helped us to locate and arrest this woman and we have dedicated teams of officers across Manchester who are actively seeking and arresting those who are wanted,” Detective Inspector Natalie McDonald said.
