Teddy Smith

Teddy Smith, 73, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 29th, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Teddy was born in Otter Creek, KY on November 13, 1951, a son of the late Ray and Mary Hibbard Smith.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Smallwood Smith.

Teddy is survived by his sons: Michael Smith, Russell Smith, and Ryan Smith, all of Manchester.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Dylan Smith, Matthew Smith, Ava Smith, and Alana Smith.

Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: James Lee Smith, David Ray Smith and wife Sharon, Charlie Ray Gray, Charles David Smith, Robert Gene Smith, Ella Mae Wagers, Margaret Leffel and husband David, Flora Bowling, Connie Lewis and husband Rick, Patsy Donald and husband Roy, Brenda Smith, Shantay Marion and husband Terry, Delley Smith and husband Theo, Anna Bennett and husband Charles, and Shannon Smith and husband Adam; and by the following sisters-in-law: Thelma Gray and Anna Smallwood.

In addition to his wife and parents, Teddy was preceded in death by the following brother and sisters: Carly Smith, Carol Smith, Helen Mills, and Lisa Marion; and by the following brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Glenn Smallwood, Elby Smallwood, George Wagers, Mildred Smallwood, and Shelby Smallwood.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 2nd at Britton Funeral Home, with Verlan Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Smallwood Family Cemetery on Buzzard.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 2nd at Britton Funeral Home.
