Estill Wade Martin

Estill Wade Martin, age 71 passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his home. He was born on Thursday, November 12, 1953 in Manchester, Kentucky to Roy D. Martin and Claudia L. Smallwood. He worked for a coal company for many years, he was a mechanic, station attendant, and a cook at Phoenix House for over 20 years before he retired. He loved growing his flower garden, shopping and being with family, and watching UK basketball. He was a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Steven Martin and wife Angela and Russell Martin and wife Cindy; three grandchildren: Adyson, Connor and Callie. Also surviving are two sisters: Linda Jewell Collins and husband Michael and Brenda Jean Saylor; her nieces: April Saylor Jolley and husband Curt and Elizabeth Jean Collins; her nephew: David Collins; and the mother of his children: Brenda K. Hensley. 

He is preceded in death by his father: Roy D. Martin; his mother: Claudia L. Smallwood; his step-father: Junior Smallwood and his brother-in-law: Darrell Saylor.

Memorial Service for Estill Wade Martin will be conducted on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding. 

 The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, December 14, 2024 after 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
