Two Laurel County men arrested Tuesday for attempting to steal metal from fire department.

Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on 11/12/2024 Sgt. Wes Brumley, assisted by Deputy Dustin Henson, arrested two individuals from Laurel County after receiving a call about an active burglary in progress on private property, at the old Horse Creek fire department off KY 80.
During the investigation it was determined that the two individuals, Michael Wagers and Teddy Parsley, both of London, were cutting down side panels and insulation inside the building. They were also cutting down the tin walls and loading it on a pull trailer that was attached to the vehicle.

-BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE
-CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE
-CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE
Teddy Parsley:
-CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 1ST DEGREE
-CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE
-BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE
-POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
-DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
