September 24, 2024
Sheila and Randall McCoy, the YouTube couple that discovered the body of I-75 shooter Joseph Couch, received their first check of the reward money today.
London Mayor Randall Weddle and Kentucky State Trooper Scottie PenningtonĀ presented the McCoys with a $10,000 check from WB Transport. This is the first of several checks they will receive as part of the $35,000 reward for locating the body of Joseph Couch, the active shooter in the recent Laurel County incident.
"Their brave actions were instrumental in bringing closure to this tragic event, and we are deeply thankful for their assistance. A special thanks to WB Transport for their generous contribution to the reward fund," said Mayor Weddle.
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
