Joe B. Collins

Joe B. Collins 73, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, July 22nd, at the Saint Joesph Lexington Hospital.

Joe was born in Manchester, KY, on January 25th, 1951, a son of the late Henry Lester and Idell Smith Collins.

Joe is survived by his wife, Jeanne Collins of Manchester.

He is also survived by his daughter, Betty Ann Alevras and husband Steve; by his grandchildren: Nick (Amy) Alevras, Chelsie (Tony Begley) Collins, Harley (Shannon) Hubbard, John Tyler (Sonya) Collins, Luke Alevras, and Drew Alevras; by his great-grandchildren: Jayden Alevras, Autumn Begley, Myla Hubbard, and Everly Collins; as well as the following brothers and sisters: Charlie Collins, Lawerence Collins, Harold Wayne Collins, Harvey Dean Collins, Ida Hubbard, and Elsie Mae Harmon, all of Manchester, KY. Also, by a special brother-in-law, Coy Smith, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Joe B. is preceded in death by his son, John Wesley Collins. As well as his brothers and sisters: Scott Collins, Delbert Collins, America Croucher, and Nellie Jean Hatfield.

Services for Joe B. will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 26th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery on Hector.

Visitation for Joe B. will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 25th, at Britton Funeral Home.
