Ronald Couch

Ronald Couch, 73, of Saul, KY departed this life on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Hazard A.R.H. Medical Center in Hazard, KY.
Ronald was born April 22, 1951 to the union of the late Joseph and Mary Arnett Couch. By occupation, Ronald was a self-employed plumber and mechanic.
Ronald was a member of the Mt. Paron Baptist Church where he attended when his health allowed him to do so.
Aside from his work, Ronald found joy in trading and playing cards. He was also an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Ronald was a selfless person and cared about the wellbeing of others. This shown through his generosity even after his death. Ronald wanted to give back to someone in need by being a registered donor. With this, he will now help give sight to someone in need.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Mary Farmer Couch, five brothers LC, Arnold, Larry, Donald and Walter “Tub” Couch; as well as two sisters Jeanette Estep and Juanita Barger.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved children: one daughter Shannon Couch (Mark Hacker) of Saul, KY, and one son Ronald Joseph Couch of Saul, KY. Other survivors include two brothers Joseph Couch, Jr. of London, KY, and Pleas Couch (Charlene) of Saul, KY; five sisters Gracie Estep of Saul, KY, Martha Blythe of Indiana, Rachel Couch (Floyd) of Manchester, KY, Myrtle Davidson of Oneida, KY, and Mary Allen of Manchester, KY. Two cherished grandchildren Cameron Couch (Maria Lainhart) and Joseph Couch. A host of family and friends also survive his passing.
The funeral service to commemorate the life of Ronald Couch will be held at 2p.m. – Friday, July 05, 2024 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Robert Rice officiating.
Friends and family may gather for visitation at the funeral home chapel from 12noon until the service hour at 2p.m. Cremation will follow the services.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
