H. Zane Fraker, 92, Needmore, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at his home.

Born February 23, 1932, at Fort Littleton, Pa., he was a son of the late John Hunter and Mabel Mary (Gobin) Fraker. He was united in marriage to the former Glenda Gale Rietdorf May 31, 1956. Mrs. Fraker survives at their home.

He is also survived by four daughters: Mary Catherine Poffenberger and husband Douglas of Needmore; Deborah Lynn Davidson and husband Bart of Richmond, Ky.; Tammy Rae Watkins and husband Kenny of London, Ky.; and Lori Beth Horner and husband Kevin of Pleasant Gap, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

He was a member of Needmore Bible Church, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of The Gideons International, Fulton County Camp.

He was last employed by the Fulton County Community Christian School as an administrator and business manager and prior to that as the farm manager at Oneida Baptist Institute, Oneida, Ky., and by Champion Paper, Hamilton, Ohio, as a purchasing agent.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 5, at Needmore Bible Church. Pastors Douglas Poffenberger and Brandon Hill officiated. Interment was at Needmore Bible Church Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
