Ruby Bowling Spurlock

Ruby Bowling Spurlock, 92, of Manchester KY, passed away Friday, May 10th, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home.

Aunt Ruby was born in Oneida, KY, on June 12th, 1931, a daughter of the late Estill and Rosa Bowlin Bowling.

Aunt Ruby leaves behind a host of family and friends, that forever will miss and remember her.

Aunt Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, David Spurlock.

She is also survived by her three sisters: Geraldine Spurlock and husband Hughes of Oneida, KY, Jean Hoskins and husband Elbert of Georgetown, KY, and Sylvia Haendel of Centerville, OH.

In addition to Aunt Ruby’s parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Estill Bowling JR. and Alfred T. Bowling. As well as her brother-in-law, Ron Haendel and sisters-in-law’s, Myra Bowling and Lucille Bowling.

Services for Aunt Ruby will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Travis Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Spurlock Cemetery in Oneida.

Visitation for Aunt Ruby will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15th, at Britton Funeral Home.
