Violet Rawlings

Violet Rawlings, 86, Formerly of Sacker, passed away Sunday at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home at Annville.
Funeral services for Violet Rawlings will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron Melton officiating. Burial will follow at the McDaniel Cemetery at Sexton Creek.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Opal Webb Allen

Opal Webb Allen was born to the union of Virgil and Mary Baker Webb on May 28, 1922, at Trixie, Kentucky. She passed away February 1, 2012 at Lexington, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Mary Webb, her husband of 57 years, Eugene Allen, two daughters Carolyn and Sue, and one son Jack.
Opal is survived by the following family; Paul Allen and wife Barbara of Rockford, Illinois, Roger Allen and wife Geraldine of Oneida, Joe Allen and wife Betty of Richmond, Mary Elizabeth and family of Lexington, and James Allen and wife Deanne of Manchester.
She is survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Betty Lou Damrel of Winchester, Blanche Waterberry of Nicholasville, and one brother Kenneth Webb of Oneida.
Opal was a truly remarkable lady. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother, who always looked out for our best interests never thinking of herself. She was a member of the Road Run Church of Christ, Clay County Historical Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She will be deeply missed and affectionately remembered by her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Memorial services for Opal will be Saturday February 4th at 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rollin Bradshaw officiating.
Burial will follow at the Jessie Allen Cemetery in Oneida. Visitation was Friday evening at the Britton Funeral Home.

Alpha Bundy

Alpha Bundy, 86, of Blue Hole, passed away Monday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services for Alpha Bundy were held Friday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Allen Roberts officiating. Burial followed at the Enjine Cemetery at Blue Hole.
