On April 20th, a group of athletes from the Adult Day Training Program at the Manchester branch of Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center traveled to Meece Middle School in Somerset to compete in the Area 6 Special Olympics.

House photo wins award

When Clay Countian Nora House started “birding” last August she thought she would take pictures of each new species she found only for identification purposes. The photos started getting better and better, she said, and before long she and her husband, Charles, were posting their photos on their Facebook pages. “We got a lot of positive feedback,” Nora said, “and we began to upgrade our equipment to see what we could do.”
