Paul Davidson, president of O.B.I. tendered his resignation at the request of the school's trustees following a special called meeting of the board on June 11 in Manchester.
The Board of Education on Monday evening hired Sharon K. “Doc” Allen Gay as their new board attorney. She is a Clay native and a practicing attorney with an office located in McKee.
On April 20th, a group of athletes from the Adult Day Training Program at the Manchester branch of Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center traveled to Meece Middle School in Somerset to compete in the Area 6 Special Olympics.
When Clay Countian Nora House started “birding” last August she thought she would take pictures of each new species she found only for identification purposes. The photos started getting better and better, she said, and before long she and her husband, Charles, were posting their photos on their Facebook pages. “We got a lot of positive feedback,” Nora said, “and we began to upgrade our equipment to see what we could do.”
A death investigation continues in the death of Charlene “Char” Braden Ghent, age 37, of Goose Rock.
