KSP investigating murder near Clay County

Troopers with Kentucky State Police are investigating a murder that occurred in Leslie County.

Police said they received a call Wednesday from the Leslie County EOC requesting assistance after a stabbing complaint.

Troopers found a man with stab wounds at a home on KY-406. Officials with the Leslie County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police identified the victim as Rodney Bowling, 43, of London.

Bowling’s body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office.
