Former Clay man charged with meth

A former Clay County man is behind bars. Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen arrested Charles Miller age 52 of Green Acres Road ,London on Wednesday night May 1, 2024 at approximately 7:43 PM. The arrest occurred on Johnson Road, approximately 1 mile east of London after Deputy Allen was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject walking down the middle of the road carrying a white bag. Deputy Allen was able to locate the suspect approximately 1 mile east of London where he stopped and conducted an investigation. During the investigation the individual was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – methamphetamine.
